The spatial database we store this knowledge in now holds a huge list of attributes for each of Australia’s 1.69 million broadacre cropping paddocks, including the crop type grown in each paddock in each year since 2019. This database is leveraged to produce a suite of products known as [DAS Grain Intelligence.](https://digitalagricultureservices.com/products/grain-intelligence) Our product is utilised by some of the largest and most well known organisations within the Australian grain industry—spanning both the public and private sector. Our objective with this report is to explain the various streams of data available through DAS and to provide an example—crop rotation analysis—of how our data can create insights that couldn’t previously be uncovered.
