CSBP Fertilisers provides a number of services to the Agriculture industry; particularly in Western Australia where a large number of customer accounts require the company’s expertise for farm nutrition management.

CSBP’s DecipherAg app is just one of the business’s innovative farming decision support products providing growers and agronomists with the data, knowledge and tools to optimise yield and secure a return on investment for their hard work at the paddock level. The app allows customers to record their location geo-coordinates against gathered sample information, lodge samples for analysis directly from a mobile phone, view sample results and trends, NDVI satellite imagery and much more.

The challenge

CSBP’s process for collecting data to place into DecipherAg was proving cumbersome for account managers. Customers were time poor or didn’t have easily accessible digital records of the details needed to inform future paddock plans. For the business, this method of data collection was limiting the amount of customers that could be serviced. CSBP required a solution that alleviated the time-consuming process for the team and the customers, also enabling them to service more customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Why DAS?

DAS’ crop data allows CSBP to access and assess yields from previous years to establish whether or not that goal is achievable and sustainable for that farm. This, in turn, allows CSBP’s team to have more meaningful and informed conversations with customers.
